At one stage, the duo looked on track for a remarkable podium finish after an incredible recovery drive from an earlier race incident saw them climb to fifth with just 18 laps to go — before Stanaway’s charge came undone in the tricky conditions, ending their race in the wall at The Cutting.

While the result didn’t reflect their pace in the wet, the #62 Bathurst Camaro stood out with its stunning livery and memorable performance.
