The Ford XE Falcon ESP represents a refined evolution of Ford’s performance philosophy in Australia, arriving at a time when the market was shifting away from raw muscle toward more sophisticated driving dynamics. Introduced in 1982, the ESP (European Sports Pack) built upon the foundation laid by the earlier XD, further enhancing the Falcon’s balance between comfort and performance. Based on the Fairmont Ghia, it featured improved coil spring rear suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and new “Snowflake” rims that set the styling apart from it’s predecessor as well as a host of new options like the Philips Premium Sound System. A highly detailed interior with accurately replicated trimmings can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet reveals a detailed 5.8L (351ci) Cleveland V8 and engine bay surround, while the underside of the model features a detailed floorplan.
