1:18 Scale. Norm Beechey. 1971 HT Holden Monaro. 5th place. Australian Touring Car Championship. With Modifications from the 1970 championship winning car #4, the Beechey HT Monaro GTS 350 appeared from the start of the 1971 series with its New #1 Signage. To Quell stiff opposition every effort was made to extract as much power from the engine as possible. Though the Monaro had faster lap times the reliability was effected resulting in an overall 5 Th placing for the series.
