The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 delivered another memorable chapter for Red Bull Ampol Racing, with Will Brown and Scott Pye combining for an impressive second-place finish aboard the #888 Ford Mustang GT, securing a Bathurst podium and the prestigious Ryco Supercars Enduro Cup in the process.

Qualifying fourth fastest before securing sixth position in the Top Ten Shootout, Brown and Pye entered Australia’s Great Race with a competitive package and their sights firmly set on a strong result.

Despite battling tyre blistering issues throughout the 161-lap contest, the pair demonstrated impressive pace and determination to remain in contention. With Pye delivering a strong performance across his stints, Brown took charge of the closing stages, fighting for the lead in a dramatic late-race battle as Brodie Kostecki charged through the field aboard the #17 Shell V-Power Racing Team Mustang.

Ultimately crossing the finish line in second place, Brown and Pye secured a well-deserved Bathurst podium, narrowly missing out on victory in another thrilling edition of Australia’s most famous motor race.

The result carried additional significance, with the second-place finish securing the 2026 Supercars Enduro Cup for Brown and Pye, rewarding their efforts across the endurance races and providing Brown with valuable championship points heading into the Supercars Finals.

For Red Bull Ampol Racing, the result also marked an important achievement in the team’s first Bathurst 1000 campaign with the Ford Mustang GT following its switch back to the Blue Oval for 2026.

From a hard-fought Bathurst podium to Enduro Cup honours, the #888 Red Bull Ampol Racing Mustang delivered a memorable result worthy of celebration.
